Outright plays (1.5 units):
Michele Redman to win 18/1 e.w. @
Surrey
The odds have been shortening on Redman each week, but 18/1 is still generous for a player that has finished 8th, 6th, 4th and 2nd in her last four starts and won this event two years ago. That was her last victory on Tour, but will surely win again in this form.
Lorie Kane to win 28/1 e.w. @
Five Dimes (.75 units to win & .75 units to finish in top-5)
Tough choice between Kane and Kuehne (45/1 @ Five Dimes) this week, but settled on the Canadian who had a storming weekend in her home Open. She finished 8th and with her previous finish on North American soil being 4th (Wendy's Championship for Children), she looks to be approaching her best form. Has a good record in this event, finishing 4th last time, and should be fresher than most having evaded the weekend battering at Turnberry two weeks ago.
Hee-Won Han to win 33/1 e.w. @
Bet365
Han, like Redman, avoided Turnberry altogether and that is the ideal preparation for last week's and this week's events. She finished 15th last week despite a poor 2nd round that took her out of contention, but it was proof enough that she had retained the form that was so evident before the British Women's Open. It was particularly impressive that she followed up her playoff loss to Gloria Park in the Big Apple Classic with another runners-up spot in the Wendy's Championship for Children the following week. She will surely win soon and will no longer be available at this price.
