Good morning everyone
Today I have the unenviable task of taking my 2 girls to their mothers funeral
My ex. Lisa died last Thursday from cancer. She was only 39 yrs. old.She had battled it for about 5 yrs.
My oldest Brittany turned 13 on mothers day,she is taking it pretty hard. She's not happy with me at the moment as I told her she needs to change schools next year so she can be closer to the school where I live. She wants to do the things she wants to do.They lived with their mother about 2 miles from me.Lisa and I had 50-50 custody of them.Towards what looked like the beginning of the death process I let the girls stay with their mom most of the time.I'm going to have my hands full with Brittany. She's a very smart girl and has had to grow up to quick.
Shannon is going to be 10 at the end of July. She is handling this unbievably good
I wanted to write this to get some feedback.I don't know how they are going to handle this funeral.
All I will say to them is everything is going to be alright.
We have a strong belief in the Lord
Thanks for any thoughts,Dave
