Why are we not talking about what happened to this man? Why is the black lives matter group/community/team not talking about what happened to him? This man was protecting a tv store that was a smash and grab not a fucking loot! They shot him in the head for simply trying to protect the store! And he?s black!!!!! What the fuck! And in the video there still talking shit after he?s lying there dying on the ground.... holding his phone as he was texting his wife!

Over some fuckkng TVs this man got killed. On purpose they shot him in the head over some fucking TVs.... until they realize they need to change they way act and think nothing will change. There?s a reason People in this world are skeptical...

Go see what Charles Barkley has to say about these fucked up communities. Haven?t heard anyone say it better

How about Tessa Majors who was stabbed to death in NY?
How about Army Vet 86 yr old Paul Marino and wife Lidia 85 who were killed in Delaware Veteran?s Cemetery. They had gone to visit son?s grave every day for 3 years. Paul was shot in the back of the head. Cap Dorn?s senseless death was even filmed for you tube.
To quote the doctor at the end of the movie ?Bridge over River Kwai?....
? Madness. Sheer madness?

Because it doesn't fit the narrative. White person doing something bad to a black person. Doesn't matter what blacks do to anyone else, especially other blacks. Ever see a protest because of all the black on black gang murders? Just an excuse to act like a jerk, loot and steal, usually harming other legitimate black businesses. Can't make this stuff up. Now Drew Brees and Vic Fangio have to apologize for their beliefs/opinions because it doesn't fit the narrative. Media scared to death to do anything remotely negative of the "movement" which isn't gonna change shit.

So is the argument that until black people no longer commit any crimes, they are not allowed to protest?

No one is holding up the african-american community as perfect and infallible, or suggesting that there are not some incredibly shitty human beings among them - as there are among every race.

Why are we not talking about it? We are! Right here. Any everywhere else. It was all over CNN yesterday, the president tweeted about it, and you can find thousand of posts all over social media about it. Not like it's being kept under wraps.

Why is it getting less coverage than George Floyd? Because there aren't protests over it. And that's because a protest, by definition, has to involve the government in some way. The current protests are about an agency of the government (the police) needlessly causing harm to a community that it's sworn to protect. For not the first time. And the goal is to have more transparency, accountability, and oversight of that agency so these things don't keep happening. The David Dorn murder is absolutely horrific and is unequivocally wrong - and no one is saying otherwise. But what is there to protest when one private citizen kills another? The murders of Trayvon Martin and Ahmaud Arbery did not immediately trigger protests - it was the police failing to make arrests which did. So if they identify David Dorn's shooter and choose not to arrest him - yeah, now you got something to protest.

There are 4 different groups out there right now: protestors, rioters, opportunists, and agitators. And this ties directly into the other thread that Cie started. It's wrong that criticism of the violent participants gets warped into accusations of racism. At the same time it's also wrong to suggest that the protestors' claims are not valid because of the actions of the other 3 groups.

Well said! Much better than I could've put it.

Has anyone ever noticed the whole video isn?t even there.... where is the part where he?s resisting arrest and then taken to the ground?

The only video you see is him walking around and then all of the sudden on the ground with the officers knee on him..... there?s a whole lot of video missing..... not saying the officer who had his knee on his neck was right and he wasn?t... that was too much and he could have easily gotten off of him much sooner.... yes I think that cop is a murderer and intended to hurt Floyd... . the other officers though.... it?s going to be hard to charge them.... especially when two of them were following orders from the lead officer.... 4th day on the job.... this is going to get ugly. Much uglier than it already it is in the streets.
