For those of you not familiar with Davis Cup..........here's a quick rundown:


- 4 singles matches, and 1 doubles match

- First country to 3 wins (meaning best out of 5)

- 2 singles matches friday, doubles match Saturday, 2 singles matches Sunday

- for betting puposes if a match is "meaningless" bets are voided (for example if a country is up 3-1 heading into final match then the fifth match means nothing..........in fact sometimes the matches aren't even played)

- Countries can change their line-up up to one hour before match starts.

- All matches are best out of five sets.......with NO TIEBREAKER in the fifth set :eek:

As for Madjack sponsors:

Pinnacle has very nice prices on lots of matches......for example Sweden and Russia are best I've seen anywhere......same holds true for Escude and Bjorkman :)

There in very tough against a very solid Moroccian squad......I think Morocco will win easily.......but I do think the Italians can win the doubles match..........I say final score will be 4-1 or 3-2 for the Moroccians.....

and in case ya care...........odds are huge on Italy:

they Italians are big underdogs as you can see :eek:

thanks kick. if i remember correctly, the favorites did really well in davis cup in the first round as well. I'm hoping Croatia, Russia, Switzerland can win the Sat doubles matches and then I'll be on
Hewitt over Bjorkman, Ferrero over Ljubicic, and Nalbandian over Kafelnikov.
I can't believe Russia chose Kafelnikov over Youzhny especially since they are playing on clay. YK has been horrible on clay the last couple of years.
