Yesterday -$32 (5-5)

Season to date - $97

May 2nd , 2003

1) Colorado -102 102/100
Mismatch on paper. Chacon is rockies best, and Estes is by far the Cubs worst. Chacon beat him 8-5 in Colorada last week and don't see why he can't beat him again today. Too much emotion playing the Giants last few days, should be a let down today.

Rest of card will follow

2) Astros -121 121/100
I know that Florida is playing pretty good ball now, and the Stros are playing pretty poorly. But, I think that Houston will be glad to be seeing anyone but the Mets. Houston isn't great, but not that bad either. Linebreks one start of the year was impressive allowing one earned run through 6. In what should be a tight game, I'll take the home team to break out of a funk. Hopefully get Penny out of the game late and attack the Marlins pen which has a 8.57 road ERA.

3) Cincinnatti/ Giants OVER 9 100/102
Giants bats were quiet against the Cubs for the most part, but that was against way better pitching than they will see from the Reds. Both teams have good offenses and should put up some runs against average pitching tonight.

4) Oakland +145 100/145
Both teams hit slightly better against lefties. Lily has been in good form lately with a 2.37 ERA over his last 3 starts while Wells has been on a 4.50 clip. In what is a matchup of the best two teams in the AL, I'll take a shot with Oakland wanting to prove something.

5) Dodgers OVER 7 100/106
The problem with the dodgers is that they get base runners, but never drive anyone home. They face weaker pitchers tonight than the phills presented last night. They should get to them. Ishii although pitching well of late has a 6.75 lifetime ERA against the Pirates. Think Chavez Ravine finally sees a nightime game with some runs scored.

Good Luck to All
