De Leon vs. Lopez

Interesting fight between two punchers.

Lopez still unbeaten and unproven, a southpaw with a two inch height advantage and De Leon, a strong puncher, sturdy chin, but can be outboxed....

I'm looking for opinions on this fight.

stanjames and bwin have Lopez WPTS @ +700

Looks like a value play, Lopez has scored some kos, but De Leon looks to tough to be stopped...quite a gamble anyway...

This is a tough one to pick.

The last time an undefeated, inexperienced power puncher faced Ponce de Leon he got KO'd in the first. (Boom Boom Bautista)

However Ponce de Leon hasnt looked that great in fights since then. Penalosa gave him trouble before that fight. and Juanma is a much better prospect than Bautista was.

I think there is value in the play tough cuz I dont think Juanma will win by KO if he does pull it out.
