Wow !

What a shame to go so young. Still, I hope the whale is not destroyed. I would prefer that it be set free in the atlantic to fend for himself.

We are the ones that disrupt the natural life of these beautiful creatures. On the rare occasions when they revert to their instinctive behavior they shoud not be killed.

The whale is not going to be destroyed and it will not be set free as Keeko was in the late 90's. This whale is a baby producing machine, as he has fathered more pups than any known whale currently alive, 31 pups and counting. Sea World makes a mint selling his sperm, so they are not going to get rid of him. The local paper (St. Pete Times) is reporting in todays edition that the head whale trainer that trained the girl that got killed says that it was not the whales fault, as she gave the wrong signal to the whale by laying in the water instead of standing (company policy).
