Deep Thoughts

After watching Kansas City Chief's
Tony Gonzalez dunk a football over
the goal post after scoring a touchdown,
I went to my former high school football field
and strolled along the field to its goal post
and tried jumping up like Tony,
unable to come close to even touching where
he went over, I then realized something
that I never did before.....I'm not tall.

I was watching an NBA game on tv,
My little cousin ask me to play with his
friends some hoops outside,
I dominated them all on the eight foot rims,
For that one moment in time during that
Glorious summer.......
I was Jordan.

Tony is from my hometown,I play hoops with him at the city gym,he was dunking in 8th grade.He is 6'7,Cowboys picked before Chiefs in the draft and picked Lafleur to be their TE.

i remember that draft.....i was Sooooooo pissed when we picked Lafleur instead of him because i saw him play all year in the Cal basketball games and his athleticism was unreal.....

oh well.....wouldn't help much now anyways because we have no one to throw the ball
