OK,Cubs might be the best in the NL; OK they are streaking at home; OK they have a great home record so why bet the Os:
1) The AL East is the best division in bb
2) The Os are a solid lineup and fielding team this year..lots of good role players who make up a cohesive team.
3) Most important, Guthrie is a very solid starter in spite of his record..he throws strikes which will limit the Cubs to maybe a few solo HRs
4) Soriano will be missed even if not obvious tonight
5) Cubs just got done spanking the cross town rivals..perfect let down spot
6) Cubs starter medicore even when in season form..should only go 5 innings max...see an Oriole 4-1 lead or so by the time he's gone
7) Os pen rested and solid
8) NL is still the inferior league...best in the NL versus the middle of the pack AL east is almost a draw IMO
