I am sure this has been talked about before, but I don't remember the answer. When sending money to an off shore book, I normally used a credit card. Now that the credit card companies are rejecting payments to off shore books, what is the best way to fund an account? Paypal, Neteller, Western Union, or something else? Any info would be very much appreciated.

There is a way to make a direct deposit at a participating bank with Neteller that is as fast as I have found. Log on to neteller.com and check it out. Other methods such as paypal can be used to withdraw funds directly from a checking account but they take DAYS.

I have made a deposit to NETELLER at Bank of America directly into their account. Faxed a copy of the deposit slip to Neteller and had the money available within 15 min to half an hour.

If you know a faster way let me know. And it's anonymous.. in that bank asks for NO info.

But DON'T lose your deposit slip!

Most definitely paypal in my opinion. Seems more books use it than Neteller. Neteller is good also and they both serve similar purposes. Paypal is better if you ever want to use eBay.

Paypal hands down. If you want instant gratification, you can have PayPal reference one of your credit cards and your acct. will be set up in a matter of minutes. You have the choic of funding your offshore accts by your own checking acct, savings acct, and a choice of 3 different credit cards. Just remember if you plan on funding your acct with checking or savings, there will be a 2-3 day wait until your funds will be credited to your acct. HOWEVER, once your acct. has money in it, it's a matter of minutes to fund your accounts...

Like I've said before, depositing with your credit card has turned into a nightmare, whether its with the great Paypal, Neteller and now, Firepay. I can't get any cards to go thru Paypal or Neteller.

And now Firepay is getting billed as a cash advance from my cards. So basically, none of the above systems are worth a shit in my book.

I can see the point of using the bank account with Paypal and thats great, but as far as sending out cash with a credit card, it's pretty much impossible, and if the card does get accepted, you can expect a big cash advance fee to be tacked on there.

It's a bunch of bs, last year it was so easy with Neteller and paypal working together and none of this Cash Advance bs.

Basically, use your bank account or pay the big fees or don't even bother. Find a local, that's what i'm going to do now. Its too much of a pain to mess with these fees.

I'm very frustrated and annoyed with the whole process. If someone has a better way with the credit cards, please let me know...

Why the need to deposit by credit card? Anyway you slice it, you're gonna be out the cash eventually. Only advantage, if you call it an advantage, is the fact that you'll delay payment to your credit card co. around 30 days. I realize that you don't have to pay the full cc balance off when you get your statement, but I would seriously advise people not to let your offshore book money run up a bunch of interest charges. It's hard enough turning a profit, much less with some bank chargin' ya between 8%-22% in interest.

At Paypal, at least they're payin' ya a little interest on your money while it sits in there. In my opinion, it's the best and ONLY way to go. Only disadvantage is the fact that ya have to wait 2-3 days for the electronic transfer to happen. BUT, once ya throw some money in your account and ya want to reload, it takes a matter of minutes and ya don't have to worry about any cc service fees or any other bullchit they'll tack on. I use it as a means to fund offshore accts, buy chit on Ebay, and use it to buy goods and services at numerous internet stores. I also use it as an alternative saving's acct. which the wife knows nuthin' about!

Their system has made my life a lot more manageable and a significant decrease in the amount of headaches I use to get f*ckin' with my credit cards. If anything, the funding process has gotten much much easier in my book...
