QB Batch to start for the Lions!!

I was wondering what it would take for the Lions to get back to trying to win. There has been a cival war since Detmer had started. I am not saying that Batch is a super QB, but this COULD spark the Lions.
A highly motivated team can do wonders.
If this doesnt get them going they are dead inside.

certainly minny will be under a lot of pressure, fighting for their lives. logic says they rise up to the ocassion and get it done.

an unusual set of circumstances for both teams could also mean the unthinkable: an upset. i don't believe this will be just a cover or non-cover, either a big win by minny or an upset by detroit.

it's risky business either way.

stewart should be able to run the ball here. The the last two games against Minn he rushed for 190 yrds.....how about that...

if det can keep minny's offense off of the field long enough this could be a close game.

i think det is in a good spot to cover here unless minny strikes early and often and det has to give up running it.

I'd like to add that Detroit sucks. Tease Minny and the over. Minny is no good either, but how could anyone bet on a rusty Charlie Batch and a team that wants to get their coach fired.

Maybe Batch will fire up and motivate the team in the same way he did last week when he came in for Detmer to spark them to a shut out, an interception, and a fumble against the Rams.

Det is certainly 0/3 but they have been beaten by some very good teams....GB...Cleve...and St Louis....I don't think Minny is in that class....remember there has been a double digit fav getting knocked off every week....I will take Det here
