i will make an exception here and use the last 3 games for each pitcher, as they both got hammered in their previous one.
weaver has pitched 20 innings in his last 3, allowed 12 hits and 7 bbs, and a mind-boggling under 1 era. 'nuff said.
colon's last 3 have also been outstanding, allowing an era of, you guessed it, under 1 as well, and has not allowed an earned run in his last 12 innings. very impressive as well.
so who do you pick here? the home team? of course, and you lay how much on colon? 120-130? i would, but certainly not -200. both pitchers are in top form, and one little line drive the opposite field, one key error, turns this game one way or the other.
no, that turns it around for me, and makes me go with the pitcher who is doing just as well as colon, and take my +180, and those totals are way too high. under 10 as well.
