Detroit coming off a bye and a humiliating loss to Washington. Tampa off a close win against the Titans....

Detroit has had two weeks to stew about their loss to Washington and prepare for this one. Marinelli having coached for Tampa knows their offense well, and his defense will be highly motivated to take care his former team. Tampa's defense will be motivated to shut down Detroit too, but Detroit's passing game will be too much for Tampa with Detroit's full set of receivers healthy for the first time since week one. Also look for a rowdy Detorit crowd to make it very difficult for former Lion QB Garcia to call the plays all day long. I expect several Tampa false starts in this one due to crowd noise. Tampa's running game is hurting having traded for Michael Bennett who likely is not in good enough shape to have too many carries. Detroit's run D also plays better at home. Consensus 48% on Detroit but line has moved from -1 to - 2 1/2. Vegas asking for money on Tampa. The only way Tampa keeps this one close is if Kitna has numerous turnovers.

Detroit takes this one by 10.

Good Luck Pug!...we're slightly bumping heads on this one because I have the Bucs +8 in a teaser...
hopefully the Lions win by 7 and everybody is happy!

if you think culpepper is providing a spark you obviously havnet wathched them play....he stinks and they cant pass.

now, they may beat and cover vs kc since they are just as bad but culpepper is a huge liability in the passing game...and he;s the qb.

Yeah Culpepper threw a pick on the last drive.
He just as easily could have gone down the field for the winning score and my pick from earlier would have been exactly correct. His 8 yards per pass showed he had a good game, the problem today was their lack of a running game.

For the record, I've watched all of the Oakland games this year and 80-90% of all the NFL games this year.

Why do you post in my threads if you don't like my plays? The reason I don't post much here is my threads turn into a bash picnic even before the games are played. I thought this was a no bashing forum?

You have done this before in my threads. You post no plays of your own and don't even make a call on this game, yet you say the game was easy money and come into my thread to say I told you so. I've also noticed you do this to other cappers.

If you don't like my plays and have nothing positive to say stay out of my threads.

who cares what anyone says.....all i was trying to say was heads up...if you're betting on oakland because culpepper has provided a spark (your reasoning) i said beware, he's actually stunk in the passing game and hasnt done anything for them.

as for easy money......betting on the raiders vs an afc west team is not advisable right now, esp if they arent getting points....for whatever reason they havent/cant beat these teams over the past 4 years.

Win by 7 they did!!!! :00hour

I have to thank you for your insight on the Lions game because I actually spent a half hour looking into that game after reading your post. I came to the conclusion that the Lions had a great chance to win the game and cover the small 2, so I played them at -2 hoping to catch a middle (since I was sure the Chiefs +8.5 would cover the second half of my teaser). Low and behold, I caught the middle and had a profitable week.

:mj06:

P.S. - Disregard the Moron that invaded this thread.

Guy goes 3-1 in his thread and you come giving advice about the one loser.

Sheesh. Save the constructive criticism for folks with more than one loss.

Culpepper sucks to an extent but KC could have easily lost ATS.

jeez, i posted it 3 hours before the game started, saying dont base your wager on something that isnt true

he went 3-1 ironically losing the game i was referring to becasue of the lack of offense from their qb who stinks (he's braindead in the pocket these days) and doesnt provide a spark...who cares.
