Who's this Harmon character that got dismissed? Is he the starter? Anyone know what this means for this team?

he was dismissed from the team effective january 1st, i dont know why i know for a fact that he was. he was averaging about 8 points a game and shooting 70 % from the field and was their fourth leading scorer. not sure but i am assuming he was the starter
last question, what do you mean by thread, i see it on the screen but dont know exactly what it means.
