I think the inflated line is due to A- the Devils lost their last game after a 6-game win streak (last Saturday vs. Boston). B- NJ has NEVER lost to Atlanta (7-0-1) and have outscored them 38-9 all-time. And C- perhaps most importantly, the Thrashers have SEVERAL key players out of their lineup tonight with injuries.
Line is high, no doubt about it. But a play on ATLANTA might be throwing money away. Hopes this helps a bit.
