i had 3 parlays riding with diaz as the kicker...the last domino.....f-ck!!

i fully expected elder`s face to blow up like kirstie alley locked in a krispy kreme store.....4 months, imo, wasn`t nearly enough time for the beating he took from courtney burton to resolve itself....

i think elder`s father is a sadist...

i`m no diaz believer...far from it...but,elder was up against it here,imo...

now, elder will get a decent amount of time to totally recoup from the burton beating....which,btw,was as brutal a beating as i`ve ever seen in a fight....win or lose....the guy looked like a gargoyle...he was half dead...out on his feet more than once.....actually,it may be that he`ll never be completely the same...it was that brutal...

when his father sent him out for the last round,i was shocked....i was even more shocked that he won....he could have died in that ring...

margarito/cintron is a very interesting fight....mosely/estrada is interesting because i want to see how shane handles the weight....estrada is a fairly tough nut...limited....but,mosely isn`t the same guy he used to be....

should be interesting...

the elder/diaz postponement tarnishes this card....alot...

if you are paying for this,i think a slight reduction in price would be fair....

because the replacement bout,is a dog...

This weekends card is still better than the Barrera-Fana card last week that cost $39.95.

Cintron-Margarito alone will be worth paying the price, imo. The fight could go either way but I played Cintron +109 a couple weeks ago, he throws the straighter, sharper, and harder punches. Margarito has a great chin though, he throws more punches and has more experience. But I still like Cintron who also has a great chin having taken Teddy Reids best shots with ease.

I'm slightly interested in the McCline-Brock fight. We know what we'll get from McCline but Brock is still a question mark to me. I have seen him fight a couple of times and I wasn't real impressed. Those fights were against medocre comp, I'm interested to see what he will do against a very big man with decent skills. One thing's for sure, if the fight goes past 8 or 9 rounds McCline will get very tired, a man his size can only keep a pace for so long and we all saw what happened to him at the end of the Byrd fight. He was almost stopped by the lightest puncher in the division, not because he was hurt, just exhausted. Brock doesn't have near the skill of Byrd but he hits harder, and if he can withstand the barrage of punches McCline will throw in the first few rounds, he has a chance. Hell, anyone that can take McCline deep into a fight has a chance. Having said that, I still lean towards McCline in this one, but I haven't pulled the trigger for the above reasons.

I think Mosley is way too skilled for Estrada. Less than 2 years ago Estrada lost a lopsided UD to Ishe Smith. Mosely is also way more experienced than Estrada, and he has fought the best of the best, twice. Estrada will have to fight better than DLH, and as good as Wright, to beat a ripped Mosley at 147. I don't see it happening. The weight shouldn't play a factor, 147 is where Shane belongs imo. I have heard some very good things from his training camp, they say he's much faster than he was at 154, and because of the speed increase he is actually hitting harder than he was at 154. This fight is only scheduled for 10 rounds, so even if dropping the weight effects his stamina, it shouldn't play much of a role here. However the -600 is unplayable so I'll probably just hook him up in a few parlays.
