I thought he had stepped out too, but rewound my DVR and saw that he didn't. I was amazed that the announcers didn't say anything b/c it was very close.
I would love to know how they don't call delay of game on such a crucial 3rd down and obvious call...
the play clock running out was inexcusable.....the refs should be fined and reprimaded for that...may have been a game changer....
but what i don`t get is the guys on this board, some that i like and totally respect, claiming with absolute certainty that flacco stepped out of the endzone....
"with absolute certainty"...
did they make it up or did they just mean,"i thought he stepped out"...
i mean,he really wasn`t all that close...it wasn`t like you couldn`t see green bteween his foot and the line...
and we had guys on here claiming that they dvr`ed it and he definitely stepped out...
i don`t understand how someone could be stone cold certain...with all due respect, that`s bullshit...
???
Decide for yourself.
Thanks . I didnt see them show it again. Didnt matter anyway. I hope Balt wins it all now.
it`s the angle,b.m.......they showed d it on the network from the back and he was a foot away from the line...
at least now i understand why people swore he was out...
On the "delay of game" I think it was 3rd and 4 in their own territory, they hit a long pass to Heap. HUGE play, definitely a game-changer. I think Titans win if they call it...

"The back judge [Bob Lawing] is responsible for that," referee Terry McAulay said. "He has the clock. When it hits zero [on the play clock], which is high here [on the scoreboards], he goes to the ball.
"So there is going to be a natural delay from zero to getting to the ball. And when he gets to the ball, if it is being snapped, we don't call it. So there can be a natural delay."
McAulay explained that is not a reviewable play.
