Well, might have just as many plays tonight, but I'll try and control myself.

Starting with:

Cal +2.5 (big) over Oregon. . . lots of value on this one IMO. Oregon's defense is relatively soft and they rely on shooting the ball well to make up for it. Well, their shooting percentage should not be as prominent on the road as it is at home. . . think they found this out at Cincy!

Eastern Washington pk (big) over Montana. . . this team should have made it to the big dance until Montana shocked them in their conference tourney last year. The money has clearly moved this line in Eastern's favor and I'll go with it.

Moorhead St. laying 7 over Eastern Ill. . . to be honest, still looking at this one, but I know I'll put a little something on it. Really like this Moorhead team even though they haven't had a lot of home games. . . think they come out excited to play at home tonight.

Definitely more to come :D

Adding Butler laying 17. . . a ton of points, but this team is damn good and I'm not sure that everyone realizes just how good yet. Especially at home.

Opinion play only:

Will not fade my team, but I think Washington State +28 is a decent play. . . Lute is not a fool and Washington (even though they aren't the greatest team this year) always seem to play Arizona well at McKale. Can't imagine the starters getting a lot of time in this one and with a 20 point lead I'd expect the bench to be emptied a little early tonight in order to gear up for Saturday and the better team.

Actually I like Oregon -2 vs Cal. Just think they are a clearly a better team and will get the W on the road, covering 2 is not that tough.

As for Wazzu. They stink. I'd advise a no play as Arizona can name the score. Win by 20 okay, win by 30 okay, win by 40 maybe, win by 50 highly doubtful. Wazzu is completely banged up and might not have anybody down low for this game and their PG is out. I see UA leading by about 20 at half and then naming the final score. I also don't see the bench to be that much of a drop off. Lute won't go down to #11-14 until about the 2 minute mark, thus leaving a lineup of Rogers, Iggy, Adams, Latimore, Fox in for extended minutes. (Heck that lineup might cover against this team.)

gjn,

Good luck to you with Oregon. . .

As for Arizona, I just don't believe this team will be excited to play Washington State. . . I see them cruising along, probably a few extra turnovers then they normally would have and covering 28 is asking a lot. Could certainly be wrong about my team and that's fine. . . I don't mind seeing them cover this number but knowing what I know, if I had to play this game it would be Washington State.

Adding Idaho +5 (big) to my plays. . . UCSB is struggling and could very well lose this game.

Good luck to you also.

Wouldn't bet the UA game, but if I had to I'd take the Cats.
Agree that they won't be interested, but that still should get the lead to 25 at some point. I see the lineup I mentioned out there causing turnovers late in the game getting some breakaways for the cover.

Hard to get excited about some of these UA games since the Pac-10 looks really weak this year, basically biding time until Kansas then the tourneys.

Adding Portland +5.5 over Pepperdine. . . funny line and I'll take this home team but treading lightly. . . upgraded Idaho to a big play

Cal line has moved up by public money (not a wise guy move at least from what I can see and services are posting). . .

Now playing the Cal ML +140 big

A lot of money on the Golden Bears tonight. . . probably more than I should but I feel comfortable with it

Nice call on Cal, looks like they controlled throughout.

The Cats pretty much slept thru that game, although for a time there in the second half, I thought we might cover (got to +19 a few times) but Moore from Wazzu was amazing. 35 points??? 8-12 from three point land?

On to another sleeper vs UDub before a couple of interesting games out here in So Cal next week.
