Did you get free light bulbs?

Our electric company sent an offer for free light bulbs if I sent back the card. They came today from Duke Energy. I looked them up and they are $9 each at Lowes. LED 9 watt bulbs equivalent to 60 watt bulbs. Pretty cool getting 6 for free. Look at the specs.

Now I remember my dad telling me when I was a little kid that they are capable of making light bulbs that would last forever. He was right, these things last forever.

Government offers utility company very large incentives if they cut energy consumption. This is why utilities want you to reduce energy consumption.

That's cool Jack...I'll tell my dad about that deal, he went out and bought God only knows worth of LCD light bulbs and replaced each and every one in his house, I just helped him by replacing 25 upstairs :lol:
