Kansas -10 1/2

I know I haven't posted on this board much, but I like that a lot. Whittemore is probable, but KU beats Iowa St by 14 with their true freshman. Bowl bid on the line also. Get it quick the spread will go up, in my humble opinion. I got it at -10 earlier today.

I'm all over it!

This is a nice setup w/ one extremely inept team on the road, just playing out the string so as to turn in its uniforms. And I emphasize inept - 10 points in its last 3 games. Contrast that w/ KU, at home on Sr. Day, in its biggest game in 8 years. Attempting to end a bowl drought over the same period. Interesting news out of Lawrence on QB situation - Whittemore is cleared to play. Iffy on whether he'll go. But the touted redshirt frosh who replaced him, Adam Barmann, not injured badly in OSU game and should be fine. And Barmann's sub went 22 of 38 for about 200 yards. So the QB situation lining up very nice here.

Kansas will roll in this game. I won't be suprised to see it shoot to -13 before kickoff. GL to us. :)

I have played Kansas St and Colorado vs Iowa St in the past two weeks - and have watched them both go into Iowa St and put up 40+. This Iowa St team has packed it in, they didn't even come close to the end zone vs K St, and only put points on the board last week well after the game was decided. Love that Kansas is playing for a possible bowl bid - and that Iowa St doesn't even seem to care anymore.

Booking this play for 2 units - could be more as I look into it.

GL guys.

Up to -11.5 at Pinnacle - if the movement continues might be good for a middle.

This might be a typo - but over on the sports data base linked by this site the line is set at Kansas -26. I assume it is a screw up, but if that was the intial thought for the line before it was released this is a steal.

Solid play in my mind - but since Kansas has lost their last four I will keep it to 2 units. Breaking the bank on a team in the middle of a big time losing streak is a no no in my mind, but maybe Iowa St's tailspin (no pun intended) is enough to offset that factor.

Honestly, when I saw the line at 10, I bet it immediately. According to the paper this morning, Whittemore is playing in this game. They have been starting a true freshman QB during that 4 game losing streak. I was waiting for the line to come out and would have bet it large at anything under 14. When I saw 10, I just about hit the roof. KU is a much better team than ISU and ISU is toast for the year.

All this is coming from a Kansas State fan that would like nothing better than to see KU stay home for bowl season. Iowa St is just that bad.

Here's a note from Thursday's college football news site:

Kansas
Head coach Mark Mangino announced that senior QB Bill Whittemore would ?definitely be the starter? when the Jayhawks host its home finale against Iowa State. According to Mangino, Whittemore, who has missed the past three games with a collarbone injury, threw the ball well in practice this week and showed no signs of any injury. Mangino added that Whittemore?s fresh legs would add another dimension to the Jayhawks? offense game plan.

4% COLLEGE PLAY- KANSAS BY 24
ISU JC QB Terry was named the starter for the rest of the year despite and he is pathetic along with the rest of this bunch.Meanwhile Whittmore will play in is final home game tremendous line value here as KU has struggled without there star. But they roll here.ISU is losing by an average of almost 36pts and really do not even put forth any more effort. Just like Colorodo was a 4% newsletter play and top play last week, KU fits the bill here KU 34 ISU 10
