There has been much discussion on the internet on whether the Republican party has been rigging the elections through the use of the diebold voting machines. To me the election on Tuesday will tell me whether or not all of the diebold speculation is true.
If the Republicans keep control of both houses, I will not believe it is anything except by the rigging of the diebold machines. With many of the polls calling for huge Democratic gains in the House, anything but a Democratic house majority will be beyond suspicious.

I've never believed *this* conspiracy theory, but there's no way that they would have pissed off their base with the ports bill w/o knowing that the elections were already decided.

============================

---what is more amazing is you'd be surprised the # people that would agree with you.

"Pelosi cautioned that the number of Democratic House victories could be higher or lower and said her greatest concern is over the integrity of the count -- from the reliability of electronic voting machines to her worries that Republicans will try to manipulate the outcome.

"That is the only variable in this," Pelosi said. "Will we have an honest count?''

shes against voter Id's-- for felons voting--ACORN been caught with pants down--and she's talking about "honest count"-- now thats funny.

Personally the fewer people involved in counting votes the better. Machines are incapable of favortism.

What would you say if you had this scenerio that happened in govs race in Washington last election.

Machines declare winner--they do hand recount that confirms same winner--they do 2nd hand recount--and other party wins--and they win governorship.

You probably never even heard about it--didn't make many headlines--can you figure out why?

Dogs,

What decided Washington's Governor's race was the "computer error" that didn't match signatures to the voters' cards. The "computer error" occurred in a Seattle (democrat) precinct. What a Co-Ink-eee-Dink?

We're just looking for an accurate count - Not surprised that you'd be against it

"Machines are incapable of favortism."

ummm....yeah, great point...machines run software, software is written by humans, humans are quite capable of playing favorites, and often do.

BBC Just what was it that I indicated that made you'd think I wouldn't want honest count.

Having verifiable ID's so we know who's voting--stopping "proven" fraud >ACORN--or the issues on felons voting??

--yep I know your speechless--AGAIN!

Dogs, is what BBC saying true about the miscount or voting problem there? I note you didn't respond to that part of his post.

I know nothing of the situation, just curious.

He never responds to anything...its just deflection and regurgitation of Hannity/Lush Rimjob talking points. I am 100% in favor of having to show an ID when voting...what that has to do with voting machine fraud I have no idea.

gosh ,the dems are nervious......maybe they need a terrorist to threaten to behead them if they don't get out the surrender vote better.. come on dems, where`s that "surrender at the peak of victory" attitude you all have?.. ....lol

dtb.........they are just realizing that their puny votes are no match for our pre-programmed diebold election-stealing machines....

i kid......but,they`re delusionally,deadly serious as usual... `

seriously,i am reading that things are getting tighter........that`s why they`re starting up the excuse machine....`cause,this would be a meltdown of catastrophic proportions....

lawyers will then be set loose on the voters and the citizens and the machines....."how dare you peasants vote contrary to what our pollsters have been feedin' you for months!"....

the dems are scared to death that mookie wilson may be stepping to the plate, and that they`re ready to have their bill buckner moment...

fraud?....the acorn thing?...pretty much a proven fraud...has gotten no footing in the msm...i wonder why?.....

take a guess....

but,POST election - watch for the charges of voter fraud (d-rat precincts) and a raft of legal challenges by lib 'advocate groups' if they fail to take either house.....

by all rights,if handled correctly...with real plans for the future and a platform, the dems would win this easily... it`s the natural cycle...

but, they never seem to realize that only saying "the other guy sucks!" as a campaign platform,is pretty lame.....

dtb.... my fellow perfidious neocon....all is not lost.....,we still have "the magnificent bastard"(rove) on our side... i believe that john kerry is a closet republican,a manchurian candidate, sent to destroy the democrat party.....ya` see,few realize the depth to which karl has penetrated....

our mole kerry is truly a gift to all republicans, perhaps the most inept man to half-succeed at politics.....this side of nancy pelosi....

with the machines all rigged....and lurch hypnotized....the fix is in....

rest easily....

Weasel, we will see tomorrow how much this country loves those Neocon heroes of yours. You think old Boy George is going to gain seats? Your occupation of Iraq is destroying our country better than any terroist could ever hope for. There will be dancing in the streets of America when the Neocon's fall and are exposed to be the crooked, murdering, thugs that they are.

gosh ,the dems are nervious

It's true. The mood here is pretty funny. Dems have been super excited the past weeks, but the energy has fallen silent and everyone is just crossing their fingers.

It's the same nervous energy as watching a closer try to save a game in baseball.

This town will be unbearable for months if the Dems don't pull through, yet the asshole in me thinks it would be pretty funny.

if i see gore vidal running down my street with a molotov cocktail in his hand,i`m heading for switzerland.....:scared

I don't know anything about rigged machines as I never read the articles--my reason --both parties have access to machines and would be to much risk and too easy to catch if they were tweaking them--which would in my view make chances of either party doing so VERY remote. I would be much more worried about hand counting in a GOP or Dem area.

Here we go. All lawyers in America on high alert awaiting the call.

43 precincts in Ohio already have gone to paper ballots because of machine malfunction.

I know you weren't addressing me, but I'm not concerned about party fraud with the machines... I'm worried that about glitches and errors and whatnot. It just seems like they aren't up to par just yet to be used. (particularly hearing the early morning stuff about the problems).

Well, ask Jimmy Carter if he's in favor of voting machines, especially Diebold, Smartmatic, etc.

He is only if they are rigged! :SIB
