I have an HD-DVR HR-20 from directv that is being replaced. anyone know how i can pull the shows i have saved on the DVR and either put them on a hard drive or a dvd?

you can put them on DVD ..
IT IS EXPLAINED IN YOUR MANUAL IF i REMBER CORRECTLY..

you can also call DTV and get them to shoot you to tech support..the folks there have looked out for me for over 15 years.

just got off the phone w/DTV..
they will walk you thru the hook up..
w/a smile..
it's line in and line out plus the record button after hitting play of program you have on the DVR..
keep me posted..probably a rain out day for me tomorrow so will help if I can..
I record on disc w/no problem so you should be able to also..
