Rarely bet Tennis, but see Djokovic as -150 favorite. Seems the chalk is the right side although Djokovic sure struggled against Murray. Thoughts on the final??? I see Nadal owns a 16-13 lead in head-to-head matchups, but Djokovic is 2-1 vs. Nadal in Grand Slam Finals.

Aside from the brain dead 4th set, Murray played great so no surprise on the struggle. Nads doesn't do mental lapses in majors. I got this match pegged as a pick'em although I can understand why Joker is the fav. Over the games totals seems the logical choice.

Don't know who's going to win, mild lean to Nadal, but I am most sure that Nadal is going to win a heck of a lot of games. Maybe that means over. I actually would like a sort of team total on over on Nadal for games, if such a thing existed.

Djok put out huge energy to overcome Murray and don't think he will be fully recovered. Second point is that Nadal doesn't do stupid things to waste individual points the way Murray does, nor does he give away sets.

Okay, going with Nadal +140 for 4.4 to win 6.16*

Just feel the positive money in a matchup that appears fairly tight is the sharper side. To win 6* on Djokovic through my main book, I have to risk 9.6* (-160) and even my smaller book it is 9.3* (-155).... I'll take my chances with the underdog and the fact Nadal had a much easier time with Federer makes this play seem sharp or smart. Djokovic almost lost to a pumped up Murray and Nadal has beaten Djokovic 16 out of 29 so he shouldn't be intimidated... wish this was on clay as Nadal would probably crush him, but will still take my chances. Nadal might be a little less tired and have been watching the line moves since I don't follow tennis closely and appears the sharp money is on Nadal.

GLTA Can't believe I'm betting a tennis match:facepalm: However, I do like betting finals on Majors and typically do well on them.:violin:

On the course!
Joker did everything he could to piss this thing away, but still managed a win.

I felt bad for Nadal.

YYZ.....you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

nobody "pissed anything away" in that match.

That was one of the best tennis matches you will ever see........5 hours 55 minutes of incredible tennis. Two athletes that put it all out there. Nobody "pissed anything away" in that match.

That was absolutely incredible to watch. One of the best sporting events you will ever see.

No Nadal clearly pissed it away at 4-2 30-15 when he hit the ball out. He had a shitload of room on that shot. He then got broken and gave momentum back to Djokovic. That guy was perfectly correct and knew what he was talking about.

Yeah.......what would I know about tennis:facepalm:

If you watched the entire 5 hours and 55 minutes of this match and you think one player "pissed that match away" you are a fucking idiot.

Of course what the hell would I know about tennis.

The fact that you played just makes you that much more biased. You can sit around and call people names but the truth is Nadal blew that match. He screwed up the point at 30-15 and despite being the fresher guy just didn't go for his shots like Djokovic did. That was his best chance of beating Djokovic in there last 7 matches and he absolutely blew it.

A difference of opinion doesn't mean anyone is clueless, it's just a difference of opinion. I enjoyed the match and after the first 3 thought Djokovic would win in 4 but Nadal pushed him to the 5th. Nadal got passive at the end though and missed a wide open court on that 30-15 point. I had no dog in the race but that's what I saw. Both had great efforts, but Nadal blew it.

The greatest players in the world are measured on how they play the biggest points...with few exceptions these battles on the biggest stage are 90 percent mental...

Did he miss a wide open down the line...yes
But djokovic missed plenty in the 4th and u could say he was pissing it away...

Was such a great display of heart and endurance and mental fortitude....joker said it best when he said there were only two winners.

Nadal missed an important point yes....but they both did throughout the six hours. Anyone who doesn't think these guys are two of te best athletes in the world are crazy..

Fun match and great mental wills.

Glad I was on the right side of this one.

Bleed....well said.

I was going to say the same thing (and more) but when someone thinks that one player "pissed away" that match there is no talking to them.

That was almost 6 hours of the best tennis I have ever seen. To even suggest one player "pissed away" that match is comical.

The highest quality of tennis you will ever see.

Ever.
