Sup bro? I saw your post on the other site regarding the Lakers/Grizz game. I've been looking at LA as my POD but would like to know why you would pick the Grizz in this game?

I'll admit that the Grizz have been on a roll and won their last three gamess in a row SU & ATS, beating their opponents by an average 94-91. I just can't see them continue this winning streak in LA. The Grizz have struggled just to maintain winning at .333 and have gotten past their opponents in only 12 of their first 26 outings SU and have won 17-19 ATS overall. A bigger problem is that their opposition have won games by an average 6 point margin this year, taking in defeat by a 96-90 score. Another thing is that during road games for Memphis, the team has only won 5 of the first 18 games SU and have also won 10-13 ATS, still getting outscored by an average 8 point margin, 97-89.

As you said on the other site, the Lakers the champs, despite the fact that they have lost their last two games. Overall LA has won 26 of their first 34 outings this year SU and have also been winning 19-15 ATS, getting their wins by an average 10 point margin, 102-92. At home they are winning at a .888 clip, having won 16 of their first 18 home games SU and 13-5 ATS by outscoring their opponents 103-89.

A few things grabbed my attention in this game:
1) Lakers are on a two game losing skid
2) Grizz already took in a win the last time these two clubs met on the court.
3) The series is split for the year at 1-1 SU & ATS, but in the last three games the Lakers have won 2-1 SU & ATS by outscoring Memphis 105-96.

I can't see the Lakers losing a third game in a row, or even worse, allow Memphis to make a mockery out of them.

Would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks man!!

Actually would love to hear from anyone on the Grizz because I want to make sure that I'm not missing anything here. Thanks.

I was gonna take a few days off, i just dont feel the burn out i was starting to feel, if it comes back im gonna take some time off. As far as memphis, lakers were horrid without shaq, they lost to gs a horrible team, they had to make a huge ralley to take out philly at home when philly was playing terrible, they couldnt beat the raptors who are not very good and were beat in the 4th quarter at home without vince carter playing the 4th one minute. They beat denver another horrible team by 1 pt and if nick passes the ball they lose that game.

They had one game they won big, over houston, and francis didnt play in that game and i think houston was on a back to back. On the other hand, memphis is 6-5 in there last 11, and these are not flukey wins or games they get big leads in and hang on to. They are beating teams in ot, late in 4th qrts, crunch time. They were down 9 pts at phx with 5 minutes left and shutout the suns the rest the way, they were up and down with utah all night, but to win in 2 ots in utah even without marshall is impressive.

This is not a knee jerk reaction to memphis playing well of late, I think you follow me and ive taken memphis a lot this year and made a lot of money including the last time they played la. Also, keep in mind without shaq, there big weakness is underneath, how in the world are they gonna stop pau, swift and massenberg. And battier can guard kobe one on one at least somewhat contain him not many can do that. Im not 100% im gonna take memphis but not a chance id take la.

Hope that helps....

It does help, thanks again bro. I haven't pulled the trigger on this one yet and if the line goes above 9, it will be a PASS.
