Sup bro? I saw your post on the other site regarding the Lakers/Grizz game. I've been looking at LA as my POD but would like to know why you would pick the Grizz in this game?
I'll admit that the Grizz have been on a roll and won their last three gamess in a row SU & ATS, beating their opponents by an average 94-91. I just can't see them continue this winning streak in LA. The Grizz have struggled just to maintain winning at .333 and have gotten past their opponents in only 12 of their first 26 outings SU and have won 17-19 ATS overall. A bigger problem is that their opposition have won games by an average 6 point margin this year, taking in defeat by a 96-90 score. Another thing is that during road games for Memphis, the team has only won 5 of the first 18 games SU and have also won 10-13 ATS, still getting outscored by an average 8 point margin, 97-89.
As you said on the other site, the Lakers the champs, despite the fact that they have lost their last two games. Overall LA has won 26 of their first 34 outings this year SU and have also been winning 19-15 ATS, getting their wins by an average 10 point margin, 102-92. At home they are winning at a .888 clip, having won 16 of their first 18 home games SU and 13-5 ATS by outscoring their opponents 103-89.
A few things grabbed my attention in this game:
1) Lakers are on a two game losing skid
2) Grizz already took in a win the last time these two clubs met on the court.
3) The series is split for the year at 1-1 SU & ATS, but in the last three games the Lakers have won 2-1 SU & ATS by outscoring Memphis 105-96.
I can't see the Lakers losing a third game in a row, or even worse, allow Memphis to make a mockery out of them.
Would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks man!!
