100% proven by experts todays cars even ones 15 years old are made to run on regular gas .............. there is no increase in gas milegae or performance with the 97 grade your better off using a can of gas treatment to boost performnace than paying $1 extra for premimum ..........believe me i tried in my lil 4 cyl dodge ............ best way ti increase mileage is buy a can of of lubricant at any dolllar tree or dollar general for like $2.40 spray it in tank before fill up watch that milage increase ............. WHY? because the gas lines are lubricated and helps the gas burn better higher faster so none is wasted. Multiple test were run as you will find on you tube THe only cars or vehicles that need high octane gas are the older carburator ones from the 70's and 80's i laugh at neighbors who bought old cadillacs three of them hardly driven taking up 2 parking spots ....... I never bought a cadillac because they over heated constantly because the radioators were too small.

like omg my old chevy impala barely got 15 mpg on highway 10 in city .......... BUT back then gas was only .80 per gal i was lucky to get one year at .35 per gal imagine fill up only cost $6.50

then because prices hit $1 a gal the pumps needed 4 digits just think these old gas guzzllers to day that have 18 gal gas tanks at average price of $5 per gal costs $85 to fill up thats with 1 gal left in tank Thank Lord i only have a 13.5 gal tank 10 gals well yeah $50 which gets me through the full day driving 100 miles but next day only need max $35

Wait. Wut?

ok JOKER DO NOT BUY premimum gas for cars today they all run fine on regular gas even if 15 yr old vehicles

why pay like $1.25 more per gal and a fillup in large tanks is 16 gals thats a whopping $20 more now do that 2 x a week thats $40 more and for the year at current prices

= $2080 more thats a healthy vacay for family even if prices drop to $3 per gal reg your premimum will be $4 per gal

my car only has 13 gal tank so most i get fill up is 12 gals $15 more for premiium

want more milage and better perforamnce heck for $3 - $5 buy 1 bottle of octane booster or gas line injectors cleaner

I drive a 2012 Lexus GX460. The owner's manual and the gas cap strictly say Premium Octane only. I think I better stick to the warning and not risk a major repair down the road to save a few bucks. But thanks for the math.

Not to mention that premium (belive it or not) in an efficient injection timing that Toyota designed.....you actually get better gas mileage in a heavy vehicle like yours than if you ran cheaper fuel.

Same with my Cadillac CT6. I'll just stick to the premium.
