Do you know how much you spend on coffee each month?

I'm not asking you to tell me how much, I'm just wondering if anyone really adds it up? I never did, but I use the Dunkin Donuts Order On the Go app because the line at my local DD is a mile long every day and just walking to the On the Go section is so much better than waiting in that fucking line.

Anyway, you have to use a credit/debit card to load up the app and I have mine set to auto load when I'm almost out of funds and I just checked my bank account for something else and added up all the reload charges for the past month.

Sheesh......I had no idea I spent that much on coffee.

I mean, I know I stop each work day (sometimes twice a day) and my wife and daughter use it 2x/3x a week for some fancy iced bullshit, but I had zero idea how much I was spending at DD. I should own stock, or a franchise.

We buy a 29oz can of the Kroger brand about once every 5 or 6 weeks. About $6 a can.

I gave up on trying to find the best and make the best, it's all about the same. :0003

Brew at home. I'm up for work at 330am, I'm in it for the quick caffeine and can't tell the difference if it's cheap stuff or good stuff. I cup is it. Wife buys it, i assume it's on the cheaper end.

that would be the day I would stand in line for coffee.

I went in Starbucks once and tried what I thought would be the best coffee I ever had.

it was not that good.

I drink one cup on the way to work at 0530 and that gets me going.

12 oz bags of Starbucks Italian, Espresso, French Roast, and Sumatra (all bold brands for you lightweights) is on sale at Kroger or any grocerystore USA every few weeks for 5.99 for 12 oz bag. I grab 10 bags minimum. Usually more if giving to kids. Best deal going. Best coffee for those that like strong. Get a bunch. Lasts a few months until the next sale. Others that don't, just ignore my post. Buy when on sale or also at Costco you get 40 oz bags (strong French Roast) for a great deal also once in awhile. Otherwise just drink weak at home (Dunkin Donuts in this weak class) or buy for 2.50 at starbucks a venti coffee.

I spend a fortune on coffee! A cup a day at work is $2.25 sometime two cups say 15 bucks a week which is $60 a month. Plus we have a Kuerig. Between buying online and on sale I can get the price down to about 50 cents a cup but between me and my wife that's at least 3 cups a day each. 90 cups a month at home $45.00 Plus the 60 bucks at work it's $105.00 and that's not counting going out to eat etc.

$0. I drink an occasional cup of coffee at work, and it?s the Folgers ready to brew in the bag/filter. I make it all the time for patients and visitors. Starbucks is overpriced, and there are many better choices that are cheaper and tastier. Starbucks is bitter; I?ve tried nearly everything at one point, and it?s very lower tier to me. When I used to buy it for work (because all we had was some terrible kind called Gold Leaf), I liked Yuban the best for taste and value.

PS Wife and kids love Starbucks, so I guess I do spend money on coffee every month

Starbucks is plain awful. Roasting coffee is not easy, a little too long or too short of a roast changes the taste. And you can't just roast it for xx amount of time to ensure an even roast because the water content varies and thus changes the time needed to get consistency.

Starbucks admits to burning the beans intentionally so that the coffee tastes the same every time someone buys a cup. I've long said DD has the best coffee, but Starbuck's has the best marketing team.
