DESCRIPTION: On the heels of Woodstock, a group of teen campers are inspired to join the fight for disability civil rights. This spirited look at grassroots activism is executive produced by President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.

I don't like reality TV shows that seem dedicated to exploiting people with challenges, and this is definitely not that. This is a film about civil rights and how people came together to fight for them.

This is not for everyone but it should be. There are a lot of things that are painful to watch but sometimes you need to see it to understand. We often treat these people like a burden rather than as human beings so it was helpful to see them interacting with each other. A woman with Cerebral Palsy was talking to the group and it was unintelligible.....but a guy with Cerebral Palsy was able to interpret for everyone. Her message was that sometimes she just wants privacy, and not having any control over her body and the inability to communicate that is maddening.
