Well fellow Dodger fans what do think? Looks like Nomah will be resigned. Third? Outfield? First? Loney needs to play first to scoop up Furcal's throws and to make up for Kent having the range of a dead person (well almost).

Middle relief was bolstered with the signings of journeyman Rudy Seanez and former Rockies prospect Chin-hui Tsao. With Takashi Saito closing and Jonathan Broxton setting up, the new pair joins Brett Tomko and Elmer Dessens. If Mark Hendrickson and Hong-Chi Kuo don't make the rotation, they'll also join the bullpen crowd. Joe Beimel returns as the situational lefty, with minor leaguer Greg Miller getting a look in camp.

Hey JT, I grew up in and around the San Fernando Valley before moving to LV in 1987.
Good to see you're like me being a BIG Dodgerfan my whole life and a Redskin fan also. I would have loved to play for Lasorda and George Allen.

Hey Hooks! How did you come to be a die hard 'Skins fan? I am originally from the DC area until family moved when I was ten. It was ingrained in me early to fight for ol' DC, lol. As for the Dodgers, became a fan in '77 when the big four hit 30 each. I like their chances in the west. Alot of depth. Take it easy...

JT, George Allen was HC of the LA Rams and got fired in 1971, I followed him and several other Ram players to the Skins and the rest is history !

Pierre won't bump Furcal

Rafael Furcal will retain his job as the Los Angeles Dodgers' leadoff hitter despite the acquisition of Juan Pierre, manager Grady Little announced this week.

"We'll open with Furcal leading off and Pierre second," said Little. "We have two qualified leadoff hitters, and that's a luxury a lot of clubs don't have. We'll get something started in every game and every inning they come up. If one happens to make an out, we'll still have a chance for a lot of action in that inning."
