The last 3 starts for Odalis Perez against the Mets (2 were with the braves) were 10-3, 3-7, and 10-1.
The last starts by Astacio against the Dodgers were scores of 10-4, (the remainder are meaningless cause at Coors Field, but 9-7, 6-4, 1-12, and 4-5).
The posted total for tonight dropped from 8 to 7.5.
Every start buy these guys has been at least nine although some in Coors Field.
Mets woeful offense is averaging 5.5 runs a game against lefties. Perez threw a ton of pitches in his last start and faded in the ninth just enough to make Gagne come in and him not be able to close the book. Might be tired, and hopefully we get an Andy Ashby sighting (good for giving up a guaranteed 4 runs)
Dodgers don't hit anyone necessarily well, but they are happy to be away from home because they don't hit there at all. Astacio has a 9.00 ERA since returning to the Mets lineup.
