does a bank check usually take 14 days......

i fed ex a bank check to the greek to deposit into my account....they acknowledged receiving it yesterday but was told it takes 14 days to clear....

this has never happend to me before with any book & it didn't happen with them when i played there previously...usually when the books get the money they make it available...i don't know what's going on with them...

meanwhile it doesn't say anything about this in their deposit section of their site...

so don't know what the story is...other then this is their policy......

thanks very much wayne..that's generous of you...but i'll wait until the check "clears"....just trying to get ready for football & this is limiting me from playing preseason....

although i will will be funding other books in the next 2 weeks, this annoys me because if they would have told me when i spoke to them before i sent the money or if it stated this on their site, i could have funded my account other ways...

Al, I have to think that the 14 day clause is a "worst case" kind of thing to cover all the bases. As you can imagine, TheGreek receives checks from players from all over the world so some checks may require that long to clear. I will be surprised if your account is not credited with the funds within a day or two.

you are right judge..just got an e-mail from the accounts dep't. & my check cleared & my account has been credited with the funds.

I'm in the same boat. Olympic acknowledged receipt of my bank draft on July 28th with the following message:

"Please be informed that we have received your check, upon clearance it will be credited to your account, which will take at least 14 business days."

As of today I have not received credit for my deposit.

BetJamaica, an Olympic subsidiary, gives credit upon receipt but limits withdrawals until the check clears.

WSEX accepts personal checks and gives credit upon tracking number verification.

Don't know why The Greek is holding up fund availablity.

i am getting ready for the season to start but it is like pulling teeth to do the deposits.....

my wife doesn't care for celine dion...we went to see her because her friend was visiting from quebec & is a huge dion fan...
