Does ANYBODY Know their Super Bowl Trivia ???

This question would be directed towards "the older guys",as the question has to do with Super Bowls in the Late 70's and Early 80's ( so that probably excuses 90 % of the readers )...
Being from Canada, we DON"T get all the GOODSTUFF (like the new beer ads ,etc.so that our Local stations can run their own ads,complete Bullshit,but,it is the law). And we miss alot of the halftime shows as well ,but it is better than 25 years ago...
Anyway, I was wondering if Kate Smith ever did one of her OUTSTANDING renditions of "God Bless America",either at the pre-game or Halftime Show ????
I remember when she would sing "live" at the Spectrum when the Flyers were in a crucial playoff game . I have NEVER seen a crowd get worked into such a massive hysteria ,her rendition ,with that voice and intensity still brings a shiver. I think Philly was something like 12 -1 when she was at the Spectrum !!!!!!
Anyway, do any of the "old farts" know if great old Kate belted out her spine-tingling version ? MAN,it was something to see. I wish you younger guys could have seen it, talk about EMOTION !!!! Spanky....

Thanks guys. I knew Kate's record of LIVE performances was something outstanding versus the recorded version..
Man,for an Old Broad ,she could sure belt it out. Much like Mary Wells singing "Santa Claus Is Comin To Town" EVERY year on "The Letterman Show".
Sorry I got off topic so before I get my ass chewed , I was asking a question about the Super Bowl, so I guess it qualifies for this N.F.L. posting.

PUJO : Where the heck do you find sites like that one about "my boys" of the 70's ????? SHIT BOY , that is GOOD reading and brings back some great memories,like when the Flyers 'chased" the Russian hockey team off the ice ,cause they got scared of th"broadstreet bullies".
