it`s coming on line in my area and i`m tired of comcast....

was thinking about their internet service also....anybody know what kind of virus protection verizon uses...i can`t deal with norton....

GW, I have it. TV and Internet and I love it. At this point I've had everything out there and I can say with out a doubt FIOS is my favorite.

Not sure about virus protection, I don't use any and I've never had a virus on my computer. At least one that did anything for me to worry about. I'm one of those people that think Norton has to keep themselves in business somehow. :SIB

i`m paying around $112 and another 22 for surcharges and fees...

GW, you're going to laugh but I don't know what it really cost me. I order so many different things on pay per veiw(ufc, movies) that i don't know what my base price is. Heck I couldn't tell you what I've ever paid for it unless I look at my card statement. they just take it out monthly and I don't look at it because I'm sure I would not feel as good when ordering all of these fights.

lol...we`re in the same circumstance.....i honestly had to pull and old bill out and examine it to figure out what i pay...they keep changing and raising and finding different ways to steal more money...... it`s hard to keep track of all of it........

sales tax/franchise fees/fcc user fees/"event" taxes...an extra fin to see a ppv in hi def........it`s a license to steal....

but i have to have that cable...if it came to eating or having cable,i`d go on a liquid diet...

good info,o.s....i doubt there`s a cheap way to get all the bells and whistles(f-ck the caller i.d. and all that phone crap)...

i`m still using dial up(lol)and it`s horrible...can`t see videos,or download anything..i have to get high speed internet..that`s a must...

directv is the only way to go, I love it and will never change unless they lose the NFL sunday ticket...I use roadrunner for internet and let us know how your new internet service is, I am keeping my options open to change if something faster is out there plus I am always without internet service for short periods of time.
