Local sports radio reported that David Boston has missed his past 2 practices due do to:
1. didn't wanna get hit after a nipple peircing/altrecation with reche caldwell and
2. just didnt show up to practice.

Also LaDanian has not practiced due to a groin injury sustained during the second half of the baltimore game. Stud OL vaugn parker out with a torn ACL and MCL. And lets face it, my chargers look like crap. Speaking of crap-the raiders are also stinking up the joint especially in MNF. But I have to believe that the less crappy team is OAK. I believe they will exploit the Chargers young secondary and gannon will throw the ball 40+ times. I think OAK will want to kill some poor team after their play in MNF and all the talk around the NFL saying that they are old and they suck. I see san diego as a total punching bag this week. What do you guys think????

After a vacation to SD during the preseason, and actually going to that snoozer against the Cards, things actually did look like the Chargers were heading in the right direction. You had addition by subtraction in the loss of Jr. Seau (although the restaurant wasn't bad...), a young team to boot, the addition of David Boston. Although I still don't think they're not as bad as they are playing, they certainly aren't meeting the expectations, especially with the addition of Boston. That being said, The bolts have to fly into Oakland, where they have faired quite well lately, 5-2 in their last trips to the Black Hole. Last year they won in Oakland 27-21, as a 7pt Road Dog. The chargers are 0-7 SU dating back to last year, and have to turn it around soon if they have any chance of competing for a playoff run. They should take this one. Neutral site, this game is Oakland by 3.5. Take the hook, the field goal, and the extra 3.5. Oakland is currently last this year in total offense, and in their loss to Baltimore, the Chargers actually outgained the Ravens 389-249, holding the ball for 35 mins.

Boston is a cancer on this team. Feel sorry for "good guys" Brees and Tomlison but the Chargers have way too many injuries and no reliable receivers. As much as I hate to say it I really like the Raiders on this one. The Raiders have the perfect team to go against to get back on track with their short passing game and the chargers young secondary and week linebacking crew. I know the Chargers are going to try to run LT all day and go with short passes but ufortunately the Raiders know this is the only threat on the Chargers offense and will be ready.

another thing to keep in mind is that the chargers always come to play their best against thier most hated foes: The Faders. Gold sheet stated that the raiders have had only one series win out of the past 13 that was by more than 10 points. But is that enough to take SD + 7??????????????

Raiders.....?

Raiders.....?

Personally, I watched a few Raider games, they just stink like 2 year old cheese under the Arizona sun  They have yet to prove anything expect that the team problems are out of control. Personally, a complete SD win is not out of the question. The Raiders almost lost to Cinni and got smashed on MNF. Coming off a short week won't help them either. Gannon seems to be upset at his whole team, mainly the coach. They play calling is crap and personally I think I could do better with a lineup they still have on offense... I hope they just get smashed in the Blackhole 'cause I would love to see them get boo'd at home.

One thing I don't understand are their pentalities. I was talking with a friend last night about their ability to rack up TONS of penality and lose of yards on Offense. He said its a normal 'raider' thing but come on, if you don't understand english when Gannon says "alright, on 2" then really they should just give up or look at the ball and wait till it gets snapped... SOMETHING

I have them in a future pick under 10.5 games this season for a small wager so it would be nice to see them lose. I also see Gannon going for early retirement if they continue this poor play calling. Why not just let him call the shots on O? It can't be any worse!

Good luck.. Personally, I won't put them on my card either way... You just never know with this team

GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!
