Does anyone else think philly is better w/o Embiid?

He looked awful. Yes he got his points but he looked so slow. Plus the offense looks nothing like the first game when they were dynamic. I knows he’s the mvp and they can’t sit him now but philly is 12-5 without him. I think Boston wins this series in 5 or 6 regardless but embiid seems to just kill their rhythm. Doesn’t help that Harden was a no show but no one else can seem to get into the game when embiid is on the floor. And Boston was running circles around him on offense. Game 4 should be interesting but I don’t see anything changing when it’s looks pretty clear to me embiid is hurt and gives up as much on defense as he gives on offense. I think Boston puts this series to bed next game. And yes I had money on these frauds so I may be a little salty but Joel just completely sapped the energy and flow we saw in game one.

No

but you are on to something, offensively the rest of the team is more aggressive w/o him... It makes no sense that the sixers had more points in the paint in game one than games 2-3 COMBINED.

Thats evidence supporting your argument… but as always its chemistry and fluid motion. When someomes in and out of the lineup role players cant settle into a “role”.

everyone loves to dog harden, and yeah he shot 20% with 5 TO’s last night, but again i believe its b/c the ask or role is different game to game.

boston hasnt even played their A game in this series… thats worrisome for philly fans

I’d say no as well their just different for many reasons stated above in real_visions post

the whole flow of the team was altered when he went down in game 3 of the nets series

the team rallied and closed out game 4 and Harden crushed it in game 1. The team knew theyd be without him for both those games so everyone knew their role and knew it wouldn’t change

game 2 vs Boston was going to be an obvious loss with Embiid being out for almost two weeks and game 3 should have been a little closer but a loss as it was especially with that ceremony before the game. Why? I don’t get that at all

but game 4 is going to be different Id look more for the game 1, 2 or 3 they played against Brooklyn

Hahaha. Love me some Al Horford, but that was actually embarrassing AF for the “MVP”

Really what was that An attempt to double clutch under the rim? If Embiid plays like no one can stop him no one will stop him
