Jocelyn Thibault, Chicago Blackhawks - TSN reports that Thibault will be undergoing arthroscopic hip surgery on Saturday to alleviate pain in his hip. It is not known how long he will be sidelined, but count on it being at least several weeks. Michael Leighton figures to get most of the starts in Thibault's absence, but Craig Anderson could also see siginificant action.

Michael Leighton, Chicago Blackhawks - Leighton is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Red Wings, reports the Chicago Tribune. Take this one with extra caution as the Hawks could quite easily play fellow 22-year old Craig Anderson instead. Jocelyn Thibault has definitely been ruled out.

Sebastien Caron, Pittsburgh Penguins - Caron is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Sabres, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Coach Ed Olczyk

Olaf Kolzig, Washington Capitals - Kolzig is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Lightning, reports the Washington Post. He was given yesterday's practice off to rest which strongly suggests that he will be in net on Saturday against the Hurricanes as well.

Andrew Raycroft, Boston Bruins - Raycroft is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets. Coach Mike Sullivan kept to his practice of refusing to name a starter, but he did seem to hint that Raycroft may be in line to get a greater percentage of starts in the forthcoming weeks. If true, this would be fabulous news to Raycroft's fantasy value, while really hurting Felix Potvin's.

Martin Biron, Buffalo Sabres - Biron is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Penguins.

Marc Denis, Columbus Blue Jackets - Denis is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Bruins. Fred Brathwaite started last night, so Denis will surely be in net tonight.

Marty Turco, Dallas Stars - Turco is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Coyotes.

Dominik Hasek, Detroit Red Wings - Hasek is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Blackhawks.

Brian Boucher, Phoenix Coyotes - Boucher is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Stars.

Nikolai Khaibublin, Tampa Bay Lightning - Khabibulin is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Capitals.

Zac Bierk, Phoenix Coyotes - Bierk will miss 10-14 days with a hip flexor, reports the Arizona Republic. Sean Burke will continue to start for Phoenix and Brian Boucher will take Bierk's place as the backup.

Johan Hedberg, Vancouver Canucks - Coach Marc Crawford was very critical of Hedberg's play in Thursday's overtime loss to the Flyers, saying the goalie played "terrible" and that he couldn't put it any better way. When Hedberg was told of the comments, he appeared stunned and then was heard muttering "what a [bleeping] joke". Crawford also went on to say that it was probably a mistake on his part to start Hedberg, a move which was met by surprise by a lot of people, including us! Hedberg injured his ankle in Tuesday's practice and only yesterday deemed himself fit to play.
