How good pitchers have done coming off a NO HITTER?? Looks like a good play with the Red Sox tonight ... Maybe the RL instead of the -220 ML... Tampa on a loosing streak and Lowe coming of a no no.. Some of you stat men let us know how Pitchers have done in their first outting after throwing a no no.. Thanks..

I don't know. But lots of goalies coming off shutouts relax too much and have poor records. Not all

Last season, and this season so far, Lowe has been very good immediately after a very good start. It's the one after that when he falters....

I don't have any stats to back this up but from memory pitchers normally struggle their first game after a no hitter. Being that he's facing the devil rays who are last in runs scored that may put a different twist on this situation.

I'm thinking about playing the RL @ -120... I wish I had more info on how pitchers have done coming off a no no.. Still 1 hour until game time maybe someone has exact numbers... I have no idea where to look for such a stat..
