DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE SYSTEM THAT INVOLVES 0 AND 5 TEAMS COMING OFF A BYE?

I remember this system pretty well because my team fell into the wrong side of it not that long ago. I went to see my Skins play a home game a couple of seasons ago against the Rams. The Rams were 0-5 and coming off of a bye. I remember seeing this system that said 0-5 teams off of a bye covered the spread more than 83% and got the su win more than 55% of the time. To make a long story short, 3 and a half hours later I was wondering how the hell the Redskins could have lost to that sorry ass team. Guess I should have seen it coming! If anyone remembers seeing this or has any info on it, I'd like to see the numbers on it as 2 teams fall into this today. The Bills and Panthers both qualify into this today so thinking about maybe taking a shot. Appreciate any info you guys might have on this. Thanks and good luck!

i reminded you of this angle last season and i'm reminding you again this season...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

as bad as they look, the winless teams after week 5 do win, and do cover the spread after their bye week. and trust me, the 0-5 bills and the 0-5 panthers do not look any worst than 0-8 bucs or the 0-6 titans last season.

2009:
0-7 TB getting 9.5 pts vs Green Bay and winning outright
0-6 Titans laying 3 against Jaguars and winning by 17

2008:
0-12 Detroit getting 10 vs Vikings and losing 16-20 after winning thru 3 qtrs.
0-4 Rams getting 13.5 at Washington and winning straight up.

...and so on...in all, these teams are 23-2 ATS since week 10 of the 1991 season

Buffalo is playing Baltimore, a team that played 5 extremely close games so far this season, including an overtime game in New England last week, and a team just that can't wait for their bye week.

Carolina is playing SF, a team that looked awfull for 3 quarters at home against Oakland last week and a team now playing in Eastern time zone where they won only 4 of last 21 games that started at 1 PM (3 of those 4 wins came against St.Louis).

As bad as they look on paper, Buffalo +13 and Carolina +3 look good enough to me to be the first two plays on this week's menu.

Thanks T, I knew somebody had a good info on it, I just couldn't remember who. Gonna give Buf and Carolina a shot. San Fran also falls into that westcoast team playing an early eastcoast game negative system as well. Good luck today and thanks for the info.

Nice call T, this is def a system worth following. Carolina gets the su win as a 3 point dog and now Buff fighting for a su win as a 13 point dog. We'll have to watch for this one next year. Good job and thanks again for the info. :0074
