know how to run a "scandisk" using Windows XP? I've searched everywhere and still can't locate it. I even tried to go to the MSD Promprt and type the word, but I couldn't find that either....

Double click the My computer icon -> highlight the drive -> right mouse click to display the drive properties -> Click on the tools tab -> then used "Error checking" this the same thing.
