Seems like Tarver is the closest thing to easy money in awhile at only -185. I would have thought this line would be closer to -400. Whle he's not quite a shot fighter, Jones seems to have lost more than a step in the last 2 years. Meanwhile Tarver is pretty much in his prime and didn't have any difficulty finding Jones in their last 2 fights. Gotta think he wins the rubber match pretty easily.

"the bunker"
tarver knocks him out cold.....

that, you can rationalize......but,how many guys have you seen glen johnson legitimately knock out?.....

i don`t mean beat on and wear down...i mean,ktfo......1 other guy at lt heavy...thomas ulrich...and that took several knockdowns..

this one scares me a little...i`d hate to see jones seriously hurt....

i absolutely expect to see him on his bike all night....or,however long this thing lasts...

i hope he doesn`t get crippled...

Roy Jones of old, or old Roy Jones?

Roy Jones of old, or old Roy Jones?

?He?s gonna make adjustments,? said Tarver of Jones. ?He?s been in there with me twice, he?s seen tapes, he?s commentated on my fights first hand, and if anybody knows anything that maybe we?re not seeing, it?s Roy Jones. He?s that smart of a fighter. He?s coming in with a solid game plan, he?s working back with his father, and I know he?s gonna be in tremendous shape. I?m sure he?s totally focused and I am as well. I?m gonna match him with speed, power, focus, determination ? we?re gonna match him with everything, and once that happens, we should be free and clear to do the things that we know we can do and hopefully have a successful night. Will it ever top the rematch? I doubt it, I?m not expecting that. I know that when lightning strikes, it only strikes once. I think it struck the second time we fought when I knocked him out with one single blow, but I am going in there to work for the knockout. And that means I?m not going to expect to knock him out with one punch, but I will go in there to break him down early, punish him to the body, continue to put pressure on him ? and we know that he don?t like pressure ? back him into the ropes, pound him everywhere, meaning his arms, body, shoulders, anything that?s available, as long as I?m hitting him, and I think that with four, five solid rounds like that, I should be able to open him up for the knockout. That?s what we?re looking to do ? work towards this knockout. Understand that I want to knock him out because I don?t trust the judges. I?m not gonna go back down the road of leaving it in their hands. I just can?t afford it.?

it's hard to believe he has anything left, the worst thing in jones fight with johnson is he looked terrified of getting hit, and wouldn't even throw punches to keep johnson off him. how he can regain that is beyond me, but tarver is sometimes too much of a counterpuncher and he might just stand there all night waiting for jones to punch, it seems easy money but........
