Personally, I'd like to see a Miami / OSU rematch but some think OSU is going to the Capitol One Bowl.

Do they deserve it? Probably not. WIll they get it anyway? Certainly. OSU and Texas get at-larges. Tenn might have had a shot, but they already played the Canes.
2 at larges get picked from Top 12 BCS Rankings. We already know OU v USC in Sugar, Michigan in Rose, and Miami in Orange.
Fiesta picks a team - will take Texas
Rose picks - will take LSU/Georgia winner
Orange takes - Ohio State
Fiesta takes Fla State
Texas reportedly is trying to get into the Rose instead which is possible maybe. I could see Fiesta taking LSU, but Fiesta is "tied" to Big 12 so some additional pressures there.

Yeah, barring a loss by OU or LSU in the conf. title games, the at-large bids will go to Ohio State and Texas. I don't see how any team could possibly get one ahead of the Buckeyes.

Hey MADEMAN, quit trying to stir up shit. OK....you beat us, great job, have fun at the Rose Bowl. It was much more satisfying beating you guys last year and winning the national championship. Do we deserve a BCS bid? YES.....I am sorry but a 10 win team from the Big 10 that is the defending National Champs will go to a BCS game every year.

JSMOOTH- just in case the others didn't explain it clearly, there are eight BCS bids and only six BCS conferences. Therefore, two BCS teams are going to be teams that didn't win their conference. So if a team that didn't win its conference doesn't deserve a berth, two teams would get byes. And that wouldn't do much good for TV ratings.

Second of all...twice now, I've done a search on "jsmooth"...his/her last post was in something like FEB. '02???? If someone who hasn't posted in nearly a year is still on your minds, then you people (who are making accusations) really need to get a life! Try doing this....bet on your games....watch your games...root for your teams... wear their colors...hate your rivals...whatever it is that you like to do..........................just remeber......at the end of the day...it was just that.....a game.
