Sick and tired of these banks nickel and diming us. Like a lot of people we have accounts at various banks. Got rid of my wachovia a little while back when they were having issues because I was pissed they were charging like 7 bucks a month to use quicken.

Just got a note from our main bank (first citizens) they too are now charging a monthly fee to transmit data to quicken. Just pisses me off, that's all :director:

A not so simple fix would be to download the comma delimited file and import it into quicken. Looking at the cost over a year, you would save $84 and takes about two minutes of your time each month.

is this file available from online banking? If I understand you correctly, instead of using webconnect just chose to download the data and then import it myself? I assumed they would still charge for that

My banks have a drop down to several a variety. I would not imagine banks would charge for the raw data dumps... The comma delimited file is just raw data seperated by a comma... Old school db. They shouldn't charge you as its basically what you're looking at when you go into detailed accounts...
