Need suggestions here!

We adopted a 3-year old female German Shepherd back in March. Now that she's acclimated to her new home, she's taking a dip in the pool twice a day. How can I stop her from swimming in the pool? She only swims when we are not there in the backyard.

I have no idea but what's wrong with her taking a dip?

I just got a puppy two weeks ago. When I had my other dog years ago we got him a baby swimming pool so his hair didn't get in our pool and there would be no question if he would get irritated skin.

I just went to Petsmart Saturday and bought my puppy a puppy pool. She's tiny though. I would suggest one of the bigger plastic baby pools and teach him that it's his and the big pool is off limits.

I guess you can purchase a dog pool for that German Shepherd, it is pretty hot nowadays. Maybe she's using the swimming pool to ease the heat. Keep him hydrated as well by installing a drinkwell on the backyard. A proper training will also help you resolve this problem.
