Anyone know dog laws. My neighbors dog is over like he always is during the day. Our glass door is up so there is just a screen and my puppy has pushed the screen out so he can put his head thru it. Today a door hanger guy came by and my neighbor dog didn't like that so he reached out and bit the guy on the arm. Police and Firemen said the dog was doing his job protecting the house. Animal control came out and said the he'll probably have to be quarantined because being able to stick his head out of our door is considered not restrained. I told the lady is he restrained by the door and she said he had his head out of the door and that's no restrained.
The really bad part of this is that he'll be on record now as a dog that bites. One more time and they'll put him down. Just doesn't seem fair to me. He was barking at the guy like crazy and the guy still went to hang the flyer.
