I'm all for it Flynn isn't going to blow anyone away with crazy arm strength or pin point accuracy but he's very good at running the west coast offense I'm sure philbin will bring with him

Did he ever call a play while GB? Pretty easy gig up here. Never try to develop a running game, get a great QB and a head coach that calls the plays...

I hear Winter in Miami is nice...

No he's never called a play in the nfl but he developed all of their offensive game planning and was a big part of developing arod...watching the packers offense struggle after he wasn't around for preparations has me kind of hoping that he was a reason for most of their success lol as long as he gets his own guy to run his offense and call plays I will be happy I don't like when the head coach is calling plays all I want him doing is game planning

Did mccarthy call a play before he got to green bay:shrug:

Good for philbin, hope he does well. Just hope he doesn't beat the Packers.

he is from Tyler Texas, my hometown, my best friends dad was his football coach in middle school :toast:

I like him because he is a team guy. He sat behind jamarcus at lsu for 3 years without whining. He stepped in as a senior and led lsu to the title jamarcus couldn't. He has handled.himself well as a backup to rodgers. Twice he has been given a shot to play, and has kicked ass both times.

I have to admit I never knew anything about him while here. He never got or needed much press in GB.

But the little I've seen of him on the 212 and on Hard Knocks I really like a lot.

For some reason Miami was one of those teams I've always hated. But now, because of Philbin I'll pull for them a little.

Even Mike Sherman seems to have grown some balls since leaving GB.

crazy to think, with starr/farve/and now Arod,

when you look at the greenbay record books for individual game performances, you will see MATT FLYNN written in for a number of em...

wish we wouldve gotten em, but I 100% trust our coaching staff for the first time in a long time.

I think philbin was a great hire, and from what I have seen on hard knocks, I like him even more...

actually verry suprised to see tannenhill impresse to the point he has thus far. hated the pick, but he is starting to grow on me....
