maybe it is too many games.....My theory is that I usually like many games on the board and if I choose not to play a few and they hit, I want to kick my ass. Oh well. Maybe to add a little validity to my post and future posts, I have gone back and retro-ed my record this year and I will give reasons on these games.
Year to date 39-36 (with parlays I am down 5.3 units on the year)
Minnesota +2.5
This one seems easy to me. Illinois has played over their heads all year IMO. Minnesota, I have as projected ahead of the Illini at season end. I love Rickert, and unlike many teams that Illinois has faced thus far except Mizzou have that big man that can stay with Cook. I like Rickert to disrupt him and try to get him in foul trouble. The home court should be huge in this matchup
Richmond +10.5
The loss of Chalmers hurts more than most think. Look for Richmond to send another defender in most situations to Sato. That is going to make this even a more one man show with West. I think that Richmond can keep this one close and 10 is just way too many.
Marquette -1.5
This goes against most of my ideals as a capper. I love home dogs, but I am starting to be more open with my selections (Example Kansas last night) Marquette hasnt shown a damn thing on the road all year. St Louis is not a bad team especially at home. There is a time where a team says to itself "Damn we better come to play tonight" I think that night is tonight for the Golden Eagles. They are truly the more talented team, and if they play with just a little emotion they will win tonight.
Florida +6
Teams that have national title on their minds sometime sare bored at the beginning of the year. Florida looks like a team that is bored right now. The only two games that they have really shown up are against kansas and maryland. This is a superior team. They are superior to Miss St even at home. I look for Florida to wake up tonight and play like a championship caliber team. I fully expect them to win outright.
Colorado St +10.5
A couple of programs on the rise. Colorado St had to deal a lot with injuries last year, but they have more depth this year. They have shot over 50% this year so far and almost 40% from 3 land. They will look to bury some more tonight, and cover the high number of 10.5
NCGreensboro -1
All records aside...Greensboro is the more talented team. They return most of their playes from last years NIT team and have just basically been terrible on the road. Well this one is at home against a team that is not as talented, and all we have to give is a point. I am all over this one as my PLAY OF THE DAY!!!
but oh well.
