You are really in touch with the Big 12 and I just wonder what is going on with Nebraska? Is Solich going to be canned or a major shake up in the staff? What do you think is the root cause that has brought this program to it's knees? I am a huge Husker fan, but get so little info on Nebraska living in Southern Ohio and just wondered what you thought.

well, i know this.....my sister went to school there and graduated last year....has a friend who got proposed to 2 weeks ago -- right before the Iowa State game!!!! forgot the name of the player -- one of their studs though.....

For anyone in the know, this is absolutely unheard of for the Huskers....this is from a team that usually won't even date!! during football season (from most of the players/ not the screwoffs like Phillips etc. that have been through there)

I saw Nebraska ripping apart OU with the option and power running game two years ago.....they totally deserted that after being up 14-0 and got their asses kicked as we all know......right then and there I realized Solich is an idiot.....he has proved this time and again and never been able to prepare and or coach this team.....now we know he can't evaluate talent either with this Lord guy in at quarterback and all this hype we heard about him....

so there you have it -- a guy who can't recruit, coach, or prepare....brings down the program in a heartbeat......and that is the state of the huskers......

Osborne is supporting Solich......morale is down around campus about the football team -- the usual jokes are out about a bad football team and circulating in e-mails......everyone is in uproar in the state.....even with the divine status of Osborne, I doubt he can save Solich.....this team is headed for mediocrity and if they manage to win 7 this year, I doubt they will next year......best thing to do would be to can the whole staff and get someone in who can save the program while the damage is still reversible......
