RBs
J. Charles is my favorite rb this year and I will take him first if he's available, the Chiefs do have a legit wr this year with Maclin but Smith is a dink and dunk qb and in ppr leagues Charles is gold. E Lacy is my second favorite rb, the loss of Nelson wil make Lacy even more important to GB's offense and he tends to stay healthy. Love a big rb in cold weather games and we will get plenty of those at Lambeau with Lacy this year. Third, how can you not love M. Lynch, another big back who will score plenty of tds and stay on the field. L. Bell is a stud as we all know but missing two games hurts his fantasy value, yes fantasy championships are won in December but you need to get to December and I like to get early wins under my belt. I am torn on AP, actually hope im not in a postion to have to draft him and I may kick myself for saying that but I just wish we would get a look at him in the preseason before assuming he is going to return to form from two years ago just because he has "fresh legs", again I may kick myself for that opinion but there are a handful of other rb's I am more comfortable with.

WRs
A. Brown goes without saying, a reception machine and that shouldn't change especially early in the season. I love Dez and Beckham both, if these guys are healthy there is no secondary in the NFC east (6 of there games) that can hold them down. Both guys torched the Skins last year and no secondary in the East is really that scary. Julio Jones is a guy I would grab early as well, don't think he was 100% last year and still gave us numbers, he may end up the #1 wr this year. A sleeper or maybe a guy who isn't in your top 15 or so wrs is D. Hopkins from Houston, 127 targets last year on a team with Johnson who had 147 targets. Targets will increase with the loss of Foster at the start of the season and Johnson now in Indy. He gets Tennessee twice, the team that he torched for 14 catches 2 tds and over 300 yds last year in two games, also a better qb this year.

QBs
Firm believer in not taking a qb early and will stick to this. I laugh at those who jump on Luck, Rodgers, Manning and Brees early. I have won b-2-b titles with Eli Manning (waiver pickup) and Matt Ryan as my qb. I will be more than happy to take either of those guys late again this year.

Te
What a down year this is for TE's. After Gronk and Graham choices are limited. I do like Olsen quite a bit especially with Benjamin done for the year, also like Bennett with Marshall out of Chicago. Sleeper for me is Delanie Walker, really think he can be Mariottas best option if hes healthy.

Thoughts?

can't for the life of me figure out why leagues want to have the biggest game in FF on the 2 weeks when teams with nothing to gain rest and limit play of their stars..

ya got flex or not

will do some more research and give ya some deep thoughts..

and before I forget...win the damn leage and make sure the league has it mandatory that you draft a kcker and defense in the draft..NO stockpiling til week 1

Here's what i ended up with

Here's what i ended up with

10 team PPR league I picked 3rd

Rd/pick
1/3: RB J. Charles -Love this pick was surprised he fell to me at 3

2/18: RB CJ Anderson -Shocked he was still on the board

3/21: WR AJ Green -I was targeting Julio Jones to be my wr1 but he got picked 17th overall (1 before my 18th overall pick, I can live with Green

4/40: WR Andre Johnson -not in his prime but still a solid wr2 147 targets last year as Texans wr1, As Indys wr2 he will still see 100+ targets and is playing with the best qb he has ever had

5/50: RB Chris Ivory -May have jumped the gun a little here but rbs started falling off the board quick and needed to get some depth, looks like Ivory will be the Jets rb1 if that's any consolation.

6/51: WR Desean Jackson -Say what you want about him, he's a hr hitter on a bad team. Health might be a small concern but his upside was enough for me. He's the Redskins wr1 and had six 100+yd games last year. No reason in a division (nfc east) that has no elite secondaries he cant get to 1000+ yds and 7-10 tds this year.

7/64: WR Keenan Allen -Another wr who will be a wr1 on there respective team, was glad to take him in the mid 7th round to provide more depth at wr.

8/77: WR Anquan Boldin -Not a fan of SF offense but Boldin always seems to have a few big games, hopefully those are the games I choose to start him.

9/86: QB Matt Ryan -I was the last one to take a qb, couple others were starting to take a second qb so the time was right that I could still get a top 10 qb before he came off the board.

10/95: WR Brian Quick -Took a flyer on this one, tons of upside but injury prone. Might be the Rams wr1 so it was worth a shot.

11/110: RB Todd Gurley -Another risk/reward here with Gurley. Rams are being cautious but when they do decide to see what he's got maybe a diamond in the rough.

12/111: TE Delanie Walker -Had over 100 targets last year, should see more than that this year with Mariota. Firm believer that TE's are young qbs best friends.

13/122: QB Phillip Rivers -Well, I looked down and Rivers wasn't off the board so for some depth or maybe just to confuse myself I took Rivers. After looking at bye weeks, he and Ryan have the same one so BLAH!

14/139: RB Knile Davis -Was still there in rd 14 so I grabbed the handcuff to Charles

15/149: Jets defense -I typically play matchups with defenses, Jets and Revis Island have a decent one in week one home versus the Browns and with the top defenses off the board I snagged the J-E-T-S

16/152: K Matt Bryant -again just looking for a team that's gonna score some pts and a reliable kicker. Bryant hit 7 50+ yd fgs last year and kicking indoors always a plus.

There you have it, looking back I don't think it was my best draft ever but time will tell. Let me know any thoughts. Thanks

Solid squad....I have the same QB theory. I won my big money league with Jay Cutler last year. Had our draft on Friday got Eli and Stafford and bolstered other positions. Got Andre Johnson and Ivory as well

If you can pick up McFadden do it!! My sleeper of the year if he gets his chance to play. All the talk is on Randle...yea he's good, but I don't think he lasts the whole season. If he doesn't produce right away Run DMC will be in there behind that O line running the show. Jerry loves D Mac! Already been stated

I also switch defenses weekly on match ups. Always good Ds on the waiver wire. I like TB week 1 at home vs rookie QB Marriota.
