what if a boxing match is declared a draw. total copout and should never happen in my eyes. but they do allow it ... one of the reasons i went 20 years with out betting boxing. when a fite was declared a draw and books all said no winner, ie kept all bets to win. not just the juice which is high, but all the bets..
to me this is not rite or moral or just or sensible. Any one who does this , keeps all wagers on a tie or draw should be put out of bussines.. by boycotting.

please somebody shed some sense on this craziness.

Hell yes your wager should be refunded on a draw, just like any other sport a tie is a push. However I wouldn't be suprised if some local books win on a draw, but you should always check in advance when dealing with a local.

As far as I know all M.J. sponsor books (that offer boxing) push on draws.

Yes your money should be refunded on a draw EXCEPT the fight outcome props such as By KO, TKO, DEC, etc......

But check with the books to be safe.

O,

It's always been my understanding that if the book offers a draw outcome as an option, and it's not selected by the bettor, then they lose.

If the book does NOT offer the draw as a play, then they failed to offer the third potential outcome of the fight, and thus it should be a push.

I think that's fair practice. If this guy was given the option of a draw, then he lost his bet.

no one. means no one, no one won, the books kept all the wagers [$$]. why is this hard to understand.. i didnt say most, or some, or nearly all. i said all the wagers that is why i brought up the subject. tie was not and is not offered as a selection at any non-euro sportsbook that i am aware of.

too wsex's credit they did refund all wagers on that fight. they are a very honest and competent company whose owner is imprisioned.

Verbal,

You're kind of hard to understand. No offense.

If the book did not offer a line on a Draw, and it was a draw, then all bets are a push. Shitty book if they graded otherwise.

Plenty of sportsbooks offer a draw line, including OLY and MVP.

It depends on whether the book offers the line as a 3 way betting option. OLY refunds wagers on sides when it is a draw. I 'think' MVP offers the 3 way betting option, so they scoop the draw. However, the odds should be calculated with the draw price and have less juice obn the sides if they plan on not refunding draws. So a normal -175/+155 would be more like
-175/+165/Draw+2500.

I WISH Olympic scooped DRAWS. I can think of 3 Heavyweight fights off top of my head that had huge volume and ended in draws.

Tua vs Rahman, Byrd vs Golata, Lewis vs Holyfield, and the list could go on and on.............
