.
I woke up two weeks ago with a stiff neck, grabbed a hot shower and hit the road to do my deliveries....Same thing happened the next day.....
Third day no relief so I tried to get in to see the Doc., she was backed up for two weeks so I went to the quick care and see what they had to say....After some poking and prodding the nurse hit my Trapezius Muscle in my neck, holy crap did that hurt!!! She suggested muscle relaxers and a trip to PT to work on it, naturally this is on a Friday afternoon so no appointment were available until the following Thursday....
By Thursday I can't drive and was in serve pain, it felt like my shoulders were being ripped off my back.... My wife drives me to the office where a friend from years gone by was there to meet me....After an exam of my neck/back and a electro therapy session he tells me this is the worst he's ever seen....My back and neck were spasming all over the place....
After the ET was finished he tells me it would be helpful to do Dry Needing... This was the first time I'd heard of it....They basically insert a needle into you neck and back muscle to get them to spasm and then fatigue the muscle so it relaxes....I had 6 needles treatment four hurt but were workable, the other two F BOMBS were dropped and possibly a threat on his life if I could ever get up... After I got home I had some relief but still in pain...Next appointment was a massage and exercises to strengthen my neck and shoulders...
Yesterday I had another appointment and needle session, this time in my upper neck, shoulders and spin area.....DAMN did that hurt again, a couple of the needles actually hit bone at the end, I was so sore at the end of it I could barely drive home....After about three hours things started to calm down and today is much better....
It's amazing the difference these needle make to gain relief.....Below is a short video that shows part of the procedure.....:0008
