Looks like the normal youtube share includes the 3rd party cookie requests.

When embedding you can click the Enable Privacy Enhanced Mode that supposedly removes them and then you can embed it without cookies

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/idPv9zAkL48?si=nptqakaawbQGa9co" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>

You can see the nocookie addition to the link below.
Code:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/idPv9zAkL48?si=nptqakaawbQGa9co" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This software doesn't require the videos to be embedded, as you just found out. Just the link works.

I don't understand the cookie problem he's talking about.

We use to be able to turn html on or off but that's bad practice as people can then run code on your site. Now they only allow "their code" by using the buttons which is much safer.

3rd party cookies are just another headache for all of us to deal with. But... I believe the issue here is that his software shows him that he's at MJ's but then gets a cookie request from Youtube so it appears to be a 3rd party cookie.

3rd party cookie would be something along the lines of, we come to MJ's but one of the books installs a cookie to see what we are browsing when we are on your site. Or other data like that.

Josh...As always you are 100% correct. After reviewing your input I see what happened. I been here since beginning....and you are one of the most valuable here. Thank you..for your shared expertise.

I trust this website and especially Jack....but we know liabilities of 3rd party cookies. I'm not going that route and malware I have wouldn't block them if there wasn't a reason.

I appreciate you Josh.

Thanks DTB. That's very kind of you to say, but lord knows I'm closer to being correct 54% of the time with computers. If only I could do that wagering. Just like Jack, I am discovering new things on this new forum software and will do my best to share anything that looks suspicious with Jack.

You and I have argued politics in the past. We both love our Country. You put your life on the line for me, my family and to protect my right to argue politics with you. I truly appreciate that. Plus I hear you're a decent golfer. Not par at Augusta decent, but decent. ;)

Take care
